Me & Mine

Welcome ...

Hi, I'm Steph.  Welcome to my little slice of the bloggy pie! I'm glad you're here so grab a coffee and settle in for a bit.

I hope you like reading, scrapbooking, cooking and generally anything kiddy/family orientated because that is what you will find here! Like me, this blog will evolve though so you never know what little gems you may find!

Enjoy looking around.  I hope that you leave feeling inspired, encouraged and come back again, and again...

Meet my clan ...

The Knight
Shane: My number one, go-to guy and the best possible husband a girl could have.  He is my knight in shining armour (a story I may tell later).

Little B: Number one son.  He wont be 'little' B soon either! Of course his name isn't really B but its what I've always called him and I've taken the advice of Simone and used my kids nicknames for this blog. I'd hate them to be identified by a future employer in some embarrassing story because of me plastering them all over the net! Anyway, moving on...

Petals: Number one daughter.  This chick is amazing.  She has more determination and willpower in one limb than I have in my entire body.

Harri-Hedgehog:  Number two son.  This little boy has taught me so much.  He has spirit and character in spades.  He is also determined to be like his Dad which is just fine by me!

Blossom:  Number two daughter, and the baby of the family.  She has yet to exert her true character upon us!  But we definitely see shades of personality coming through.  It'll be an interesting ride with her I bet!

Meet Me ...

This is me!

Here are some snippets about me:

I was..  born and bred in New Plymouth, Taranaki.
I am.. a wife and mum, and that is all I have ever wanted to be.
I think.. that its important to stop... and listen and just be.  And dont be afraid to be yourself.  There is no one else like you.
I wonder.. about how to best use the time God has given me.
I wish.. I could scrapbook, knit, cook, read, drink coffee, write,  photograph and play with my kids all day! (And right now I wish I knew how to use Photoshop - oh, and this computer!)
I save.. pieces of paper with quotes on them.
I always.. try not to give myself a hard time (but I am a woman after all)!
I cant imagine.. a life without faith - seriously, how hard would that be?
I believe.. that the only real mistakes are the ones from which you learn nothing.
I promise.. to be authentic on this blog.  It takes courage to be vulnerable and open, but I will try.
I love.. how all you Mummy Bloggers out there share your lives with the world.  You make the world a much richer, inspiring and motivating place to be.
I hope.. that you will visit my space in blogland often and enjoy the ride with me.
